Summary
I am a Serbian graphic-designer with extreme passion for working with everything visual. Wide range of experience that I have, shows most of my interests and proves that routine is not healthy for designers. A free lancer, fully employed in advertising agencies, an art director in big publishing house, writer for fashion magazines, assistant designer for luxury seaport marina, trends researcher for textile house, name it I've done it in last eight years. In this variety, one thing is constant: when given a creative assignment to think about, I might call you at midnight to explain that I already know how, where and with which collaborators that particular thing can be done. I firmly believe that a design lives on, and that is why I think about its future while making it.
2011 to date
For almost two years I'm working freelance for different clients such as:
Porto Montenegro - a luxury marina on Montenegrian coast.
Cooperating with their marketing department on infinite number of presentations, billboard campaigns and other print material.
Miss Edi - a creative agency from Belgrade.
Working together on different creative tasks for clients such as Avon, T Mobile, LEGO wear and Tourist Organization of Budva. Furthermore, my first environmental design, both for Tourist Organisation of Budva won the second prize for environmental design on FORFEST in Montenegro.
Still working for different small-scale clients as designer, art director, food stylist etc.
2009 to date
Textil, Serbia
Textil - the biggest seller of fashion fabrics in Balkan region.
Business relationship that started as a logo redesign in the agency that I was partial owner of, and grew into a long-term freelance client service.
Creating and maintaining complete visual identity, digital (blog, newsletters, Facebook page), all collateral, Belgrade Fashion Week activities, Textil Funzine (corporate newspaper twice a year) and all marketing activities with selected team of freelance associates (journalist, copywriter, photographer…).
I regularly attend Bread&Butter fair in Berlin, identify the coming trend and do company trend reports for creative and sales department.
2011
Luminus Creative, Croatia

I worked for four months in one of the Croatian biggest agencies as a temporary Art Director.
Responsibilities: providing creative concepts for advertising, and overseeing the art direction. Work in close collaboration with copywriters, strategists and account management team. I was also involved in commercials as Art Director, for Luminus Studio (Emmy awarded agency) Presenting creative concepts and projects to clients.

Partial owner of a boutique agency, equally responsible both for creative business of the agency and recognizing the needs of our clients. I was also responsible for recruiting and managing creative agency staff and creative associates. Working mostly for small-scale clients gave me big pleasure in creating comprehensive concepts from scratch.
Fields of expertise: fashion, food and beauty products.
Agency also worked as a design studio for larger advertising agencies winning pitches for big clients.
Managing multiple projects from concept through completion, my tasks also included: working from a brief with a copywriter, generating ideas to present to the client, working on designs to produce effective campaigns.
2007-2008

In charge of establishing and constant improving of visual identity in collaboration with Editor-in-Chief.
Tasks also included:
Constant collaboration with both Photo Editor and Photo Agency.
Selecting freelance illustrators and collaborating with them.
Working with marketing department in creating magazine advertising materials (web site, prints, billboards, newsletters...).
Creating print ad concepts for clients.
Creating editorials in collaboration with an Editor-in-Chief.
Organizing and preparing editorial shooting (selecting photographers, models,
stylists, make-up artists, locations).
Entire magazine layout design and pre-press (March-June 2008).
Training Graphic Editor and permanent collaboration with him.
Close contact with printing house in order to check and improve print quality.
While the new beauty column editor was being recruited, I was in charge of supervising the beauty section creating editorials, choosing beauty products for photo shoots, producing and supervising the shoots, arranging sets and props…
